We’ve had a good week and a half listening to Britney Spears’ newest album, Circus, which will hit stores on her 27th birthday, next Tuesday the 2nd.
We know you don’t turn to us for music (certainly not to Dave, who in the world would do that?), but if you’re one of those dozens of thousands of people who have Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” stuck in your head, prepare for Kanye West and Britney to try to out-pop “if you like it, then you should have put a ring on it.”
Point being is that Circus is on our guilty pleasures list, and we just found these nice scans from Britney’s Rolling Stone article, and it’s Thanksgiving. We know Britney should be giving thanks for her third comeback.
Also, if you all get interested in her again, that’s like, new post city. Because everyone loves the Britney Spears story, even if your way of loving it is hating the living daylights out of yourself for knowing where you first learned the crazy woman had shaved her head way back when…
… we can barely look at ourselves in the mirror anymore.

Doesn’t it sort of look like you could put anyone’s face in this Britney Spears promotional shot? Is it possible they put Britney’s face in there, or has photoshop and the cultural idea of beauty progressed so far as to finally meld Britney Spears and Barbie?
Either way, this thing is giving us the creeps, and “creeps” doesn’t bode well for Britney’s new album “Circus” coming at you the first week of December.

Britney may be looking out for her youngest as we still wait to hear how little Jayden James Spears is doing, but since we know the career and the woman are entirely separate, a high-quality leak of Britney’s next single “Kill The Lights” has started making the rounds.
Of course we have it just for you….

Go Sox!
Wait…that’s not right. Or nice. Let’s try again:

Britney Spears’ youngest son, 2-year-old Jayden James, had to be rushed to the hospital this weekend after lapsing into a ‘vague and unresponsive’ state, suspected to be a seizure…

That’s right folks, Britney Spears joined Madonna onstage for her San Diego tour stop to sing “Human Nature.” We’ve got videos of screaming folks and Britney actually looking like the sane one onstage. But it’s hard not to look sane next to Madonna’s Mad Hatter dress.
Oops, we didn’t know we couldn’t talk about sex…

Britney Spears’ new album Circus is coming out in December and will mark her second of many comebacks. We were surfing around the net when we came across this image, certainly a new Britney image and certainly photoshopped to all hell, but this claims to be the cover for Circus without any of the graphics attached to it yet.
So, for those of you looking for the newest high-quality image of Britney Spears, look no further. Ditto for those internet Mavericks who can’t wait to take this image and photoshop their own text and titles on it. Like this one:

…but, you know…actually funny.
Here ya go, click to make full-sized:

Since we can’t report on the very real news that Barack Obama will be on the Daily Show tomorrow without seeming bias, we can report that after the election a week from today, Saturday Night Live will have to prove to their audience that the show can hold on to the ratings gained through Tina Fey as Sarah Palin.
What better bad decision to make then bringing Britney comeback drama into focus?
In grain of salt territory, Celebuzz (Cele Buzz? Celeb Uzz? Thank God we’re just typing and not talking to you) is reporting that “source” says Britney will be hosting Saturday Night Live on November 22nd as part of her newest comeback effort.
If it works, we can just start associating “comeback” with Britney Spears for the rest of our lives, because it’s, like, the fourth or fifth time the media world has tripped over itself to raise her up again.
