Brothers Bloom, Rian Johnson’s newest flick after the high-school-noir of Brick, is coming at you in theaters May 15th. It’s been months since I’ve seen the film, and the marketing push could be significantly more present, but this is a fun con-man film opening two weeks after Wolverine and one week after Star Trek. You are going to have to seek this movie out, and I suggest you do (REVIEW).

Other than that, I can’t tell you much more about the flick without just re-writing my most recent bitchings abut poster design, so I’ll get to the meat and potatoes of the whole thing.

The first 7 minutes of Brothers Bloom is available on HULU (and embedded under the cut) with an introduction by Rian Johnson. The only thing that’s cool and important to look for that Rian doesn’t mention is that one of the younger Bloom brothers is played by Max Records, who will be Max in Spike Jonze’s Where The Wild Things Are.

But I don’t want to spoil this whimsical opening sequence for you, so you can just watch the rest…
