Robert Rodriguez finally made another movie. After his half of Grindhouse, Planet Terror came out, we were given multiple ideas of what Rodriguez would be doing next after Shorts came to the screen. Finally the word came down that it will be Nerveracker, a story about a future society, which had me thinking pretty thoughts, since I’m a Rodriguez fan. But, when I say “fan,” I mean I saw Spy Kids 3D not that I am wholly in support of Robert’s child’s play fare.

If the guy can keep SFX budgets down and keeps turning out profitable children’s movies, then he’ll be given more freedom to make the kind of flicks he wants. It’s just weird to see someone switch from R-rated to G-rated so frequently.
