See that read guy? He’s Deadpool. He’s a cool-looking badass in that costume, but he wears it because he’s scarred underneath. Except, when Ryan Reynolds plays him in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, he won’t look like that. He’ll look like Ryan Reynolds for awhile, then something will happen to him, then he’ll look like a bald ninja with paint on his face.

At least that’s what all the evidence is starting to look like…

I found this action figure picture over at our friend Film School Rejects site.

That says Deadpool, and it has a guy who has dirt or makeup on his face and what looks like swords taped to his arms.

Which would be lame enough, but I’m pretty sure that those swords are coming OUT OF his arms, after they boost Deadpool with a Wolverine-like healing power, you know, why not just give him claws like everyone else in the movie?

See that blur? I think that’s a sword coming out of his arm, and there isn’t any tape on it.

The Wolverine conceptual design team is not on my good side right now.
