Ok, Edgar Wright, director of Scott Pilgrim, you’ve swooned me with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, a young hottie who I like enough to admit that I liked Sky High, implying that I saw Sky High and I was paying attention enough to notice she was good in it…
You convinced me that I needed to stop ignoring the Scott Pilgrim film adaptation news that you’ve been posting on MySpace, and I need to Wikipedia this Scott Pilgrim comic and maybe get over my stance that I don’t buy digest-sized comics.
And maybe, just maybe, I’ll accept Michael Cera as Scott, fighting the seven ex-boyfriends of Ramona (played by the above Winstead, who certainly looks worth fighting for) in some crazy half-film-half-animation visual blowout.
But only because Mary Elizabeth Winstead has killer eyes that have drawn me to your film and it’s source material. That’s how strong their pull is.
