More videos take swings at Christian Bale and his potty mouth. I would say I felt kind of sorry for him, but he and I are done professionally.

Harry Knowles of Ain’t It Cool News has decided that AICN won’t be posting the Bale audio, because “It isn’t news. And it certainly isn’t cool news. It is a moment in a man’s life taken completely out of context and most likely leaked to personally embarrass Christian Bale.”

And when comments from that thread were shut down with the loud reactions of commenters, they all migrated over to another Terminator thread, which climbed to the top of the active posts and has remained in the top ten for 24 hours.

Why AICN has decided this isn’t cool news is a little puzzling, but even for a site called The Bad And Ugly: what’s wrong with posting unedited audio that definitely happened? If the DP was screwing with a light and most DPs don’t screw with lights, that’s fine, but that doesn’t make it unhappen. Nor, I hope, are these sorts of outbursts common, so it’s not like watching a behind the scenes feature over and over again where “this isn’t news” might be valid.

If Bale’s embarrassed, maybe he has cause to. That seems to be the only thing that’s going to happen to him.
