It took Guy Richie’s Sherlock Holmes movie coming to New York to finally get a look at Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler, a character who appeared in Arthur Conan Doyle’s 1891 A Scandal in Bohemia, though never again in the Sherlock mythos. Thus far, we haven’t gotten this good of a look at screen-ready McAdams.
