Thanks to YouTube, we have 11 behind the scenes featurettes of Coraline, based on Neil Gaiman’s (Sandman comics, Beowulf and Stardust) young adult’s story about a girl who gets sucked into a parallel world where and evil “Other Mother” and “Other Father” want to keep her there.

Gaiman teamed up with Nightmare Before Christmas Director Henry Selick to make the film in amazing 3-D stop motion.

Everything we’ve seen thus far looks absolutely amazing and the care demonstrated in these videos is astounding. Especially the first one from Art Director Bo Henry:
