Whitney Port, who may or may not be a featured character on The Hills (because we refuse to watch it, garnering our Hills knowledge from our weekend charity work at the local center for the mentally retarded), has moved to New York to spin-off for her own series The City, which looks to be just as stupid as it’s original series, and equally as fake.

Whitney (Whit-less? Just Whit? Is there a way we can get around typing three extra letters?) has a job working for Diane von Furstenberg, a fashion designer who gained prominence by introducing the the knitted jersey “wrap dress” in 1973 (we’ve seen her sh*t at theĀ  Metropolitan Museum of Art, we’re cultured!). Thing is, her and her cast of Viacom-approved sycophants might be hurting the company more then they are helping it. Just like Whitney’s Hills predecessors didn’t actually work at Teen Vogue, Whitney doesn’t actually work for von Furstenberg:

Though reality starlet Whitney Port will be seen toiling for the designer on her new MTV spin-off series, “The City,” which premieres tonight, one source tells us, “She doesn’t really work. She is hardly ever in the office.” Those who do work for von Furstenberg, however, are in the office daily and “can’t get their work done because MTV tells them they can’t move any thing at their work stations. They do so many reshoots that everything has to look exactly the same every day.”

What? You didn’t expect her to have TWO jobs did you? She already has one: pretending to be a real person.

We won’t be watching The City, but if Whit-less is ever ballsy enough to visit Brooklyn, she’d better keep her camera crews out of our office and off of our futon.

Bless that futon.
