Paul Rudd, it’s so hard to believe that you have trouble finding man-friends, or man-dates or bromance, or whatever buzz-word this movie wants so badly to create. Jason Segel seems to be a good fit for a friend, but we have a little trouble imagining that someone like Paul Rudd needs dudes to hang out with. We would totally hang out with Paul Rudd.

Now, Paul Rudd who is engaged to Rashida Jones, that’s a whole ‘nother story. Can we even hang out with Paul Rudd without secretly hoping to cuckold him with his fiancee?

That’s why we love trailers so much, it gives us an altrernate reality without locking us into a plot. Paul Rudd is Paul Rudd and in this trailer, he’s doing his Paul Rudd thing. Ditto for Jones and Segel. But, these films are so forumlaic, all they really have to go on is the natural chemistry of thier stars.

And this movie might have it, not that we’re willing to judge all 90 minutes on these 2.

I Love You, Man is going to premiere at this years SXSW, but y’all get to see it ’round March 20th next year.
