We’ve been all over the pictures coming from the set of Kick-Ass, the film based on the Mark Millar comic of the same name. The film stars Aaron Johnson as Kick-Ass/Dave Lizewski, an everyday teenager who decides to become a superhero. But unlike Spider-Man and other film heroes, an hyper-violent world of crime is waiting for Kick-Ass.

These photos come from Newsarama, who has some of the first production stills from the set, featuring one of the first time Dave Lizewski goes out to fight crime as Kick-Ass.

Some picky fans have pointed out that the Kick-Ass costume has a mouth hole in the film where there was none in the comic books. We say, you should have already known that, because we’ve already had some pictures.
