Say what you will about the good old excuse of “exhaustion” for stars, it still works and people will still believe it, like people who are rich and famous somehow don’t know how to manage their time any better than we do. If I were to start acting crazy and collapse, then phone into my place of work from the police department claiming “exhaustion,” I’m pretty sure I’d be replaced right quick.

But I wasn’t in Reservoir Dogs, so maybe I don’t deserve to be cut any slack…

The website claims [Madsen] was held on involuntary psychiatric hold, administered to patients who are deemed a danger to themselves or others.
But the actor’s publicist has slammed the reports and revealed that the star had in fact collapsed - but is now recovering from the incident.
Liza Anderson says, “Madsen just got off a plane from overseas after a gruelling work schedule. He was suffering from food poisoning and extreme exhaustion and basically collapsed. He is resting now with his family by his side.”
And a representative for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department - who allegedly held Madsen - has backed up the claims, insisting they cannot give any more details about Madsen’s condition.

The original report was more slanted towards a blind item, suggesting the actor had the cops called on him when “a family member in the house became alarmed by his crazy behavior.”

Does bad blowfish make you go crazy?
