Fox Demands New Money

While we knew a sequel to Wall Street was in the works with Michael Douglas back as Gordon Gecko in Money Never Sleeps, but is currently under a complete re-write according to THR with Alan Loeb (Things We Lost in the Fire, 21) set to overhaul.
Best of all?
Douglas, who won an Oscar for the role, is interested in reprising the character but will make his decision of whether to return based on the script.
Instead of being signed on for sure, he’s edgy about a return. Likely because Money was originally supposed to take place around the same time, now has to function where our economy is in the utter pits. Bright side? At least Douglas can look like an aged and ragged guy who spent the last twenty years in limbo.
