People think most video game-to-film adaptions suck. And yes, they categorically do (Super Mario Bros. The Movie, Mortal Kombat Annihilation, Resident Evil) but some are just inherently awful. This brings us to Street Fighter: The Movie, which not only had horrible attempts to bring out every character in the popular 2D fighter, but likely killed Raul Julia.

Luckily, they’re making a “sequel” that focuses primarily on Chun-Li (Kristen Kreuk) and will likely allude to evil criminal warlord M. Bison, maybe a warrior tournament and some Wire fu. In the mean time, Kotaku has first shots of the one-sheet along with some more PR filler–sadly, in Japanese. And I don’t feel like translating it.
