Today, we have some on set photos for you from the set of The Picture of Dorian Gray, an Oliver Parker film-adaptation of the Oscar Wilde novel about an attractive London man who secretly hides his age and evil deeds through a magical portrait.
Obviously, the film is probably going to be much more serious than that synopsis, but The Picture of Dorian Gray is one of those Oscar Wilde books you just kind of pick up for some ancillary reason. Like Dave read it when the horrible film adaptation of The League of Extraordinary Gentleman added Dorian Grey to their crappy movie, played by , the guy who was supposed to be Aragorn in the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy until he turned out to be too young.
Now, we’ve got some nice pictures of Ben Barnes, aka Prince Caspian, as the titular character, looking sexy in Victorian garb from a few angles (and in motion!). Rounding out the photoset are what appears to be Colin Firth slightly aged into Lord Henry Wotton, and Emilia Fox in period garb as Lady Victoria Wotton.
Mmmm. Victorian garb. If only it wasn’t so uncomfortable.
