It’s one of those weird things, like making clean versions of heavy metal albums, but Kevin Smith’s Zach and Miri Make a Porno has a watered down version of this week’s red band trailer that they have released for the general audience. Less cursing doesn’t have to equal less funny, but this is Kevin Smith we’re talking about, and he’s directing a movie about two people who make a porno flick.

If you aren’t ready to see R-rated material, we don’t think any green-band preview is going to change your mind, especially when the red-band was fuck-laden and hilarious. This trailer doesn’t fall flat on it’s face, but it’s easy to see why marketing directly to their curses-and-boob lovin’ audience directly is actually producing a better product.
