Michael Moore is going ot release his latest docu-opinion piece, Slacker Uprising, for free online on September 23rd to those that live in the US or Canada at SlackerUprising.com. Moore’s $ 2 million dollar film follows him on a 60 city tour through the battleground states of 2004’s presidential election as he does all he can to get the young, college “slacker” crowd to vote.
Check out the preview:
Here’s the thing about this film: It’s really depressing on the eve of another “historic” election to recall that time 4 years ago. It was a time when we thought the Democrats couldn’t lose because of Bush’s horrible first-term policies, but the Dems did lose and we were subjected to 4-more years of Bush.
Although the power to vote should be promoted, those of us who already vote in our local and national elections just get to relive a period of extreme optimism similar to our current Democratic feelings and remember how so much hope added up to another red win, somehow.
Whatever, we’ll watch it. Just so we can make fun of Michael Moore.
He’s fat.
