Yesterday, we got news that Eli Roth had been cast in Quentin Tarantino’s newest pic, a WWII genre flick call Inglorious Bastards (just CLICK HERE once and get it over with). Today, it’s the same news, but a different unexpected person.

B.J. Novak, like, Ryan from The Office, will be cast as PFC Utivich, a soldier of “slight build” who was born in New York and is now off fighting the Nazis.

This sucker is going to start shooting this fall, so it would be a safe assumption that we’re going to be getting a wealth of casting information over the next few days.

As for this particular info: WTF? B.J. Novak? He was just a writer on The Office before The Office started casting their visually-acceptable writers as characters in the show. What does Novak know about acting? What does Novak know about Tarantino films?
