Keira Knightley, onetime Rear of the Year nominee, has finally said NO to the Hollywood publicity machine that keeps trying to pump up the boobs on her likeness in movie posters and on movie merch.

In preparation for the publicity tour for The Duchess, Knightley allegedly refused to sign off on airbrushed pictures that were altered to take her chest up a few cup sizes from its currently flat status. Publicity shots for King Arthur were notoriously airbrushed to boost Keira up to a C cup.

What say you of Keira’s rack?

A little while ago we saw a video blog posted online by our very own Dave, which discussed the merits of various cup sizes. We gave ourselves a good squeeze and investigated further.

Apparently Dave doesn’t have a problem with flat-chested members of society. According to our managing editor, in a vid entitled “Why Not Talk About Boobs?”:

I actually don’t discriminate against this too much. I’m kind of an ass guy I suppose — but I feel discriminating against breast size, on the side of it being too small, is kind of ridiculous. … What is there really to say about double A sized breasts? I don’t know. They exist. They’re on people.

For the record, Dave also likes A cups because “what you see is what you get,” even if you’re hanging upside down.

[ED: I’m surprised that Lauren took the time to watch and transcribe my Facebook video blogs. If you like to know more about Hollywood altering posters and images to slim asses and building up chests check out our oldie-but-goodie: Selling Boobs, Race, Butts And Films!]
