If it was the past, and we were still wearing all black and baggy pants, Repo! The Genetic Opera would probably look amazing. Part punk-rock musical, part S&M fantasy, part horror and all camp.

Since we’re not that young anymore, clips from Repo! make us ask other questions. Like, why is everything neon like Batman and Robin? Why is everyone so cool with a world addicted to surgery enough to require a Repo man to repossess organs? Is this destined to be the performance Paris Hilton is remembered for?

Since MTV can’t think of anything better to do than make Rocky Horror Picture Show again, maybe we’ll champion this little pic, or at least keep an ear to the ground.
