Oh man, the different things that we’ve seen on other people’s Comic Con coverage. If you think that some of your favorite film blogs were a little slow yesterday, it was probably because they were on their way to San Diego for Comic Con, which has quickly become much less about Comic Books and much more about exciting the geek audience for your upcoming film and TV slates.

The great thing about not being at Comic Con is that we get to sit around and surf the internet from our comfy chairs whilst everyone else has to surf the internet while waiting in lines for panels or in uncomfortable convention seats.

That being said, we’re going to cover the Comic Con coverage of a few key players. Today, we look through the best of the Comic Con preview night pictures, and will point you in the direction of a review for JJ Abrams’ newest TV pilot, Fringe, which screened last night…

First up, the thing you are going to see on every website ever: Archimedes, the Owl ship from The Watchmen, has been shipped out to Cali to rep for the WB’s booth.

If you want to see more, /Film has a whole post of pictures about it.

Next up, is some AICN coverage from Quint, who spent more time looking at badass busts and toys. His post has stuff from The Exorcist, the baddie from Feast II, more of the below Halo line by Weta and another shot of that GI Joe drill ship that we saw at New York Comic Con.

AICN also scored a nice photo of the poster for The Goon, an upcoming David Fincher animated film:

And we don’t know what the hell this is:

Coming Soon hints that it might be part of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, which we’ve already trashed for certain reasons.

/Film are also the only guys who are taking pictures of Fanboys, like this ultra-hot Black Cat!

Our winning album of photos goes to Coming Soon, but AICN gets extra points for having Capone review JJ Abrams’ Fringe pilot and /Film gets the LOL of the day for their introductory shakey-cam video.
