Late Night Shuffle Speculation

Conan O’Brien is going to t take over for Leno next year and Jimmy Fallon is inexplicably going to take over for Conan, the question has always been about time tables, and now the New York Times thinks they know what is up.
Lorne Michaels has decided that Fallon needs to hammer some kinks out of his hosting performance before he gets in Conan’s seat an (we’re guessing) gets his head ripped off by critics. Michaels plans to start Fallon as an internet-only show as early as this fall, allowing the comedian to figure out his rhythms and tics before the big, late show,
Everything else is up to speculation as we hope that tomorrow (Tuesday) will see the release of a NBC schedule outlining when the Late Night Shuffle begins. Right now, popular theory has Conan stopping his duties next February, when Fallon would step in for a few Conan-less months before Leno wraps up around June.
Hopefully this speculation will be cleared up tomorrow.
