The cast of Oliver Stone’s W, the George W. Bush biopic that is currently shooting got in a bit of a tussle early Saturday morning according to CNN:
Actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright and five others involved in filming the Oliver Stone movie “W” were arrested during a bar fight Saturday morning, police said.
Shreveport police Sgt. Willie Lewis said the seven were arrested just after 2 a.m. at the Stray Cat bar.
The Times of Shreveport reported that Brolin was booked and posted $334 cash bond to be released. Police did not say Saturday night whether he or the others had been released. The paper said they are part of the crew filming “W,” about President George W. Bush.
The pic began filming in May in Shreveport, Louisiana and already two cast members have been arrested?
Not many details about the brawl are known, but we’re splitting the odds between a southern gentleman questioning the accuracy of an Oliver Stone bio-pic of the current president and someone making tasteless jokes about Brolin getting his ass kicked by a guy with a paige haircut in No Country For Old Men.
