We brought you a few stills from director Gavin Hood’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine last Wednesday, and now Aussie publication Lake Macquarie News has more pictures from the lengthy beach shoot, recreating the taking of Normandy, where Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Liev Schreiber’s Sabertooth.

The pictures aren’t large, as they’ve come from a print source, but they are more detailed than the previous stills, and now we’ve read the detailed Superhero Hype! set report from a military-trained extra that makes all these stills that much cooler.
