That’s right, one of the many original Knight Rider Cars is up for auction on eBay, currently at $30,000 and quickly rising.
The car comes from the estate of Andrew Kissel, a slain Greenwich businessman who was found bond and stabbed in the back in the basement of his home mere days before starting a 10-year prison sentence for forging documents to take out more than $16 million dollars is bogus loans.
Kissel bought one of the black Trans Ams from an auction house in May 2005 for $69,000, but never picked up his purchase because of his mounting legal woes.
Don’t worry, the car is not cursed. Two men have been arrested in Kissel’s murder and one faces the death sentence. Though the car might be fine, it’s not awesome to be a Kissel. Andrew’s brother was killed by his wife in 2003 when she poisoned his milkshake.
…and he drank it up!
Bad taste? Eh.
