The Justice League movie that was killed, re-animated, put in pre-production, cast, then killed again might not be totally dead, according to last week’s New York Licensing Expo and the watchful eye of B&U tipster My Last July:
Hey man, here I am surfin’ the net and I come across this little tid bit, from playthings.com
“Long-term, live-action Robotech, Johnny Quest, World of Warcraft, He-Man and Justice League films are also on the agenda for licensing, as well as the CGI Thundercats and a third Batman film from Chris Nolan, Gilmore says.”
here is what supermanhomepage.com had to say about that
“[Playthings.com] is reporting that Warner Brothers is still discussing licensing for a “Justice League of America” movie. At the Licensing International Expo 2008, held this week in New York, Warner Brothers senior vice president of global toys and themed entertainment, Kelly Gilmore, mentioned the “Justice League of America” live-action film as part of their long-term licensing agenda.
We’re unsure where this puts the possibility of a Justice League film. It would seem that Warners is still going to keep the gears turning on the JLA, possibly as a competitor to Marvel’s recently announced super-hero team-up The Avengers.
Our advice? Re-script the Teen Titans story of deception amongst young heroes, fit it into a continuity and CAST MEGAN FOX AS WONDER WOMAN ALREADY!
