Nothing like kicking the last Transformers 2 update off the front page by adding another Transformers 2 update, right? Come on, everyone wants to know everything about Transformers, right? Right?!?

Production watch continues today with Revenge of the Fallen moving back to PA to film at Eastern State Penitentiary, the University of Pennsylvania and PECO Power Plant. If you are a member of a “experienced” string quartet, you could get closer than anyone else by getting cast! [heerycasting]

Seen on set: 2 new transformers (pictured above).

The concept car is a Chevrolet Beat, unveiled at April’s New York Auto show and has been spotted on set. New transformer or classic with a new skin; still to be revealed (and debated, no doubt).

The blurry photo of a remote control car is supposed to be Wheels, according to /Film. According to the Transformers Wiki, though, Wheels is actually Neo-Wheel a member of the Micromaster family, or transformers that scaled themselves down in size to be more fuel efficient. Neo-Wheel is usually found with the Turbo Team which includes 5 other Micromasters who come together to form the six-part Sixturbo.

This seems to be consistent with other reports of multiple robots becoming one altmode (see The Twins) or multiple altmode vehicles becoming one robot (Arcee). Many becoming one or one becoming many seems to be the major difference between the transformers of the first film and the robots in Revenge of the Fallen.

Arcee was supposed to be part of the first live-action film’s cast, but ran into some size problems, according to this concept art:

The problem being that a single motorcycle produces a human-sized transformer. Now that Arcee is going to be made up of two-or-three Can-Am Spyders, she should appear noticeably bigger, and hopefully less-purple.
