Exciting news, Cinematic Marvel Universe fans (that’s you, right?)!
For those of you turned giddy from Captain America’s shield showing up in Iron Man, prepare yourself to once again geek out.
Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier made an appearance on G4’s Attack Of The Show to promote his surprisingly well-reviewed superhero flick, when he let this little bomb drop:
“As a filmmaker and as a fan, I like to go see movies and watch them several times, … and every time I see it, discover little things in the background. Did you know that in Iron Man, Captain America’s shield can be found somewhere? Well in Hulk you might see Captain America Himself!”
Whaaaa?
Does that mean we’re going to see Steve Rogers hanging around the borders of the frame, or is it just a roundabout way of saying we get to see the super-soldier lab?
Early reviews from The Incredible Hulk, though positive, have not mentioned Captain America, leading to speculation that the scene might have been held back from the press screenings, much like the Nick Fury (Sam Jackson) scene at the end of Iron Man was held back from reviewers.
