Transformers II: Revenge of the Fallen got another production logo from Michael Bay’s site Shoot For The Edit, so we’re happy the internet got one right.

We haven’t seen too much of Bay’s “misinformation” campaign, unless the call sheet that Transformers Live! picked up is somehow faked. Either way, we’re getting lots of information about Transformers II, the least of which is the film’s production title: E72.

There is also tons of probable spoilers the we are going to compile to the best of our ability inside…

Two scenes have been ousted from multiple sources of online information. The first is the Bethlehem Steel shoot that took place last weekend and the second is taking place at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum this weekend.

Bethlehem Steel

- If you are one of those weirdo industry people who enjoy looking at call sheets, some intrepid spy has fetched the Bethlehem Steel call sheet and you can look at it in all its glory HERE and HERE.

- Ramon Rodriguez (The Wire) is Leo, Shia’s college roommate, a part that briefly was Jonah Hill’s.

- The cast at Bethlehem Steel was Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Matthew Marsden and Andrew Howard. Vehicle wise, there were three wheeled motorcycles, an Ice Cream Truck, Bumblebee (not in Shanghai), Ironhide, 3 NEST Hummers, 2 Trikes (for kids I think), Go-Kart, 10 Shanghai dressed police vehicles, Audi R8 and a NEST semi. Also a Chinese Police helicopter and 2 Blackhawks all equipped with spotlights.

- The above two-toned Ice Cream truck is rumored to be a new set of Transformers called “The Twins.” They are Autobots that come together to form the Ice Cream truck. From /Film: ” There’s one sequence where the Twins are speeding down a Shanghai street and split apart around a group of Chinese children in the street, which should be pretty cool looking. At another point the truck crashes and the Twins split in two and have a brotherly fight. Yes, it looks like the comic tone of the original film is back.”

- The Bethlehem Steel sequence will be the film’s opener, where the Autobots, British SAS and a military team lead by Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson chase an Audi RS8 Decepticon. Joining the chase is a hot pink motorcycle with black highlights which turns into Arcee (new Transformer), a go-cart named Wheels / Wheelbot and Stinger (possibly a Porsche). The US Military team meets up with Ironhide on a Shanghai Street.

Smithsonian

- Bumblebee and The Twins are left in the parking lot as Sam (Shia), Mikaela (Megan Fox!), Leo, and Sector 7 Agent Simmons (John Turturro) sneak into the Smithsonian after hours. Simmons uses a radiation tracker to find a SR-71 Blackbird in the museum.

- The Blackbird is awoken by “the splinter,” a mystery item that could be a piece of the Allspark.

- The Blackbird is supposed to be Jetfire, but the plane itself has been branded with a Decepticon logo, so that’s kind of confusing.

Overall

Thank you to Transformers Live! and /Film for compiling all we know:

Locations: Shanghai, China and the Air & Space Museum in Washington, DC
New Transformers: Arcee, The Twins, Stinger, unknown Decepticon Audi R8, Wheels, Jetfire, and Constructicons
Alt Modes: Motorcycles, Ice Cream truck, Blackbird, Audi R8, Go-Kart, and earth mover
New Human Cast: Ramon Rodriguez (Leo)

Yes, you read that right, someone saw a Constructicon Earth Mover and excited probably hundreds of fanboys who can’t wait to see Devastator in all his glory.

If all this is TMI, please feel free to send Dave and e-mail telling him to stop covering Transformers stuff. Otherwise….hell, yeah!
