“Serious” Injury On Scorsese Set

shutter-island.jpg

The new Marin Scorsese film, titled “Ashecliffe” through production, has set up shop in Sharon, Massachusetts for the past few weeks. The movie is based on the book “Shutter Island.” In the film, Leonardo DiCaprio plays U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels. Daniels is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island. Ben Kingsley and Michele Williams also appear.

Too bad production was halted last night when someone got run over…

From The Patriot Ledger:

The driver of a water truck was backing up and rolled over the man’s right leg shortly after 7 p.m. Monday, Sharon Firefighter John Guiod said. The man was flown by helicopter to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston with serious leg injuries.
Information about the man’s name and condition was not available today.
