Arson? Forgettable. Celebrity arson? Let’s run with it.
This morning 50 Cent’s Dix Hills, NY house burned down and his girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins (we swear we aren’t making that up) and their 11-year-old son Marquise were take to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.
Which would all be tragic if the fire chief didn’t say that he thought this fire WAS NOT and accident…
For your consideration: 50 Cent and Shaniqua getting in a shouting match on the streets of Manhattan yesterday:
Oh, marital bliss! If that wasn’t bad enough, the house burns down and 50 is strangely absent?
Says Shaniqua to Newsday: “Someone threw something in the window and set the house on fire… He’s trying to kill me and his own child. I know without a doubt in my heart it was him.”
Why kill your wife, you ask?
We’re guessing you’ve never been married (*rimshot!).
About a month ago, 50 tried to throw Shaniqua and his kid out of the now carbon house, telling them to pay $4,500 in rent or get out, so Shaniqua filed a suit claiming that 50 had promised to put the $1.4 million dollar house in her name.
The above street fight took place about an hour before Shaniqua’s lawyers deposed 50 and his crew, a deposition that apparently ended violently when one of the crew started literally tearing up the lawyer’s office, causing enough damage to force a police report.
All is not well in the house of half-a-dollar, so he might have just burned it.
Which has us thinking of only one thing:
