Two things jump to mind with these photographs from Motherhood’s set in the West Village (NY) yesterday:
1) Uma Thurman is much hotter when people are trying to make her look “plain.” Pre Poison Ivy in Batman and Robin, she was way hot. And kind of looking like this. In that sense, we’re in favor of this film.
2) Before we look up the plot to any movie we get set pictures from, we try to imagine if the entire film was just whatever boring exterior scene we get to see. In this case, the synopsis would be something like: “Taking your kid to the park is stressful and doesn’t allow you adequate time to get dressed like everyone else in the West Village.”
The film is actually about Thurman, who plays a mother of two preparing for her daughter’s sixth birthday party and “has no idea of the challenges she’s about to face in order to pull off the event.”
Minne Driver is also in it, but who cares?
