Word in the press circles is that we shouldn’t expect a singing turn from Knightley in the future, even though she doesn’t seem to warble that poorly in a newly released clip from The Edge of Love, a film we last talked about when its trailer was released.
The news wire has some nice quotes about what makes skinny-Kiera shake in her period costumes: “I did some lessons with a voice coach because I can’t sing. There were 100 extras and John (Maybury, the director) was like, ‘Now you’re going to sing…’
“I’ve never been so frightened in my entire life.”
“I don’t know how singers do it. I never want to have to do it again. I don’t want to be a rock star.”
