Not just shoot them, but do parts 2 and 3 simultaneously. Twilight is just book one of the series with New Moon and Eclipse already published and a fourth part, Breaking Down, due in August – pre-dating the film’s December release. New reports suggest that the filmmakers have already been “discussing” shooting New Moon and Eclipse simultaneously to keep sets in tact and their characters young.

“Our vampires can’t age…if they were like 45, people would say ‘What’s up?’” director Catherine Hardwicke told MTV News, “[Filming them together] could be the case. Then, you just get it done.”

Today is also Tuesday, which – to Twilight fans – is Twilight Tuesday on MTVNews.com, where they add new content every Tuesday. This week’s feature shows Peter Facinelli discussing his character’s car and also includes Behind The Scenes footage.
