Does it kind of piss us off that a movie so intertwined with New York somehow jet-set off to London to make its debut after clogging our streets with gawkers and production assistants? Yes. Yes, frankly it does.

But you know what made us feel better? That thing that Sarah Jessica Parker decided to wear on her head to the Sex and the City premiere completely dominating the news coverage.

We tried to find an article about the actual premiere, but every one we ran across makes reference to whatever that is on her head (some sort of acorn/flower/butterfly combo). Some even just state: “The crowd was almost as excited about the leading ladies’ outfits as they were about the plot,” then spend the rest of the article detailing the red carpet fashions.

Did anyone even see the movie?
