They already crashed a car into a lake, which thankfully wasn’t one of the essential stunt cars, but things just took another bad turn for the James Bond crew.

Also, this might be the most hastily written AP article we’ve ever read in our lives:

Officials in the Italian resort of Lake Garda say a stuntman was gravely injured in a car crash while filming the new James Bond movie.

A spokesman for the northern town of Limone sul Garda says the stuntman suffered serious head injuries when he and another stuntman crashed during a car chase sequence on a winding lakeside road.

The spokesman says the stuntman underwent surgery at a hospital in nearby Verona. He said the second stuntman was slightly injured.

The accident occurred on the last day of filming at the lake on Wednesday.

So there was a spokesman, was there?

Sorry, we shouldn’t joke, but the statements made by the spokesman seem to be slightly contradictory. Like, how did he undergo surgery, but was only “slightly injured?” Did he have a really nasty splinter?

Regardless, Bond is finally out of Lake Garda, hopefully with some great car footage that came really close to killing someone (or slightly injuring them, says a spokesperson).

You can see one gnarly picture of the crash over here at TMZ.
