There is an upcoming Amelia Earhart biopic, which we can only assume will at least mention the fact that she disappeared in 1937 attempting a flight around the world.

Hilary Swank is playing the femme aviator, and Richard Gere will be playing publisher George Putnam, Earhart’s husband. The two had a rocky relationship that must have included Earhart shaving her eyebrows…

…or something.
