Yesterday was another exciting day in New York star-gazing, this time two real A-Listers came out to play. Sure, Christina Ricci and Orlando Bloom are okay, but they are no Clive Owen and Julia Roberts. We don’t think anyone has made that argument nor will make that argument anytime soon.

Clive and Julia were shooting Duplicity, the new Tony Gilroy movie where they play corporate spies who have had an affair in the past and decide to join forces to pull off a long con job.

The thing about Con Job movies (“heist” movies to most of us), is that most everything has the possibility of being really important. So, the 20 takes of Clive stopping Julia as she walks by Lord and Taylor on 5th Avenue as Julia drops her purse in an argument could potentially be a spoiler.

Just a heads up there.

Otherwise, wait ‘till 2009 like the rest of us.
