Anyone else notice that Leatherheads “fumbled” this weekend?

The George Clooney comedy was unable to dethrone 21, which reaped the spoils of its second week at the #1 BO spot.

Leatherheads pulled in $13.5 mil compared to 21’s $15.1 and casting doubt on the ability of George Clooney to open a movie.

Personally, we think that Leatherheads was buried because of lackluster marketing.

But, the important thing is that we didn’t use the word “fumble” like everyone else.
