It looks like some San Francisco residents have taken the viral campaign for Forgetting Sarah Marshall and added their own, tree-friendly twist.

The campaign, already taking place nation wide, doesn’t put the movie’s title on its advertisements. Instead it is made up of phrases meant to lead you to one of the film’s viral sites ihatesarahmarshall.com or ilovesarahmarshall.com.

That leads to viral advertising explained in this on-site short, pulled from a fake entertainment news show:

Slashfilm noticed that some San Francisco residents have started spinning the campaign on local trees, for some sort of hippie reason.

All we now is this is pretty funny, especially since these Sarah Marshall things are all over New York as well.

And that tree does look fat in those pants.
