This is interesting. The Sun reports that John Mayer blogged about writing lyrics and writing a note to an ex-lover, either Minka Kelly (FNL), Jessica Simpson or Cameron Diaz.

The thing is, we know about the Mayer blogs, because that guy is hilarious, especially for someone we consider a bi-polar douche. He’s not actually bi-polar, but his douche comes out without warning, eclipsing the occasional cool or funny things he does.

Anyway, here’s the note that’s under discussion:

Dear Ex Lover,
Perhaps you didn’t understand the last time I told you to stop contacting me, so I’ll do my best to spell it out for you. I do not wish to have you in my life anymore. I don’t know how much more clear I can be about it. It would serve you best to move on with your life and find someone who can put up with you, because I’m done trying.
I hope this is enough closure for you.

First, let us reiterate that we don’t care, and we would black tag this if all our news sources weren’t treating it like John Mayer mystery-letter day.

Our guess is that this is a Dear John letter for Dear Minka. She’s hot shit and all, but she was used and dropped by Mayer pretty unceremoniously this winter.
