The Oscars yesterday were pretty dull all around as we let our coveted Acting Oscars go to a whole bunch of Europeans.

Gary Busey attacking Ryan Seacrest and a mildly frightened Jennifer Garner on the red carpet was totally worth watching the pre-show on E!

That’s the one we usually watch anyway, because after several years, Seacrest is starting to grow on us. He’s not the best person doing interviews on television (that spot is for Jon Stewart and occasionally the well-spoken Letterman), but he does do the best Red Carpet interviews for every major kudosfest.

Admit it, if you had to take another 5 seconds of Joey Fatone on the red carpet, you’d be wishing Seacrest just hosted everything.

Regardless of what we think, Gary Busey has been looking for Ryan Seacrest for “years” because of what he hasn’t done.
