You’re going to have to excuse us, as two things we love: Comic Book Movies and Friday Night Lights have just collided.

That’s right, the newest rumor of casting around the X-Men spin-off/prequel for hugh Jackman’s Wolverine suggests that Taylor Kitsch, one Tim Riggens on one amazing show called Friday Night Lights has been cast as Gambit for the new Wolverine film.

We’ve also heard rumors that the Blob might make an appearance at around 800 lbs and the Silver Fox might also swing by to play, while Ryan Reynolds might pop up as Deadpool somewhere in the flick.

Kitsch’s involvement may not be limited to a single X-Movie. Rumor has it that Kitsch has singed for a three-picture deal which could mean that we’ll follow the two broodiest X-Men (and that’s a sought-after title in the Marvel Universe) over a couple of films.

Or, before you blow your load, Fox may just want to have Kitsch nailed down in case Gambit pays off for the fan boys.

Meanwhile, we’re going to search for some sort of really manly story next. Our tutu is chafing.
